Janakalyan School

The earthquake of April 25th had serisously damaged the Janakalyan School’s infrastructure. Alike many other schools, the school was forced to remain closed for several weeks.

Since September, Ek Pahila Foundation began a project in partnership with the Janakalyan School to rebuild its bathrooms and classrooms which will benefit 137 students and the teaching faculty. The construction will follow the formal guidelines of the Ministry of Education.

Male to Female students ratio = 1:1.2

Ek Pahila’s mission:

  • Rebuild the school toilets
  • Reconstruct the classroom building for the students
  • Refurbish the classrooms with teaching materials, science lab equipments and other necessary items
