Dear friends and families,
I wish each one of you had the opportunity to witness the changes that you have helped bring about. It is a very delightful feeling to visit the young students and share their excitement and joy to attend a school that is now slowly transforming into a much healthier and better one. The most important phase of our project is soon to begin. The school community is very eager to start the agricultural phase of the project through which they can find some means to be self-sustainable in the future. As the monsoon rains recede, the soil will be ready for plantation. Students along with their parents and teachers will be involved during the plantation phase. Photos and videos will be posted!
However, a sincere request to all of you; this cause belongs to each one of you who have supported us in your own possible ways. We would like to urge you to talk to your near and dear ones about the work and the mission that we have set to fulfill since our work began. If we are to continue helping the children of Devisthan Primary School, we need to raise funds and provide other basic necessities to upgrade the classrooms so that the children can sit on wooden benches and enjoy at least studying in a warm classroom during the cold winters. Once the school community can stand on its own feet and meet its own finances, I am sure they will gallop ahead towards progress.
