End of the renovation of toilets

Following the earthquake of 25 April 2015 in Nepal, Janakalyan School has been critically damaged. As a result, Janakalyan School closed its doors for several weeks, as many other schools did too. Since september, Ek Pahila Foundation started the construction of toilets and classrooms for the 137 students. The construction was carried out according to the security rules of the Ministry of Education. Two months and a half later, the toilets are finally ready and the building is secured.

Activity report on the construction of 8 temporary shelters

Dear donors, We are happy to present the final report involving the construction work of the temporary shelters to which you have kindly contributed. The goal has been accomplished! The 8 shelters have been constructed before the start of the rainy season. As of this moment, the 8 shelters will host 32 families from the village of Badalgaun. Dear donors, April 25 marks the day that we both shared the same heartache and sadness after hearing about the catastrophic earthquake that struck Nepal. Madhab Shrestha, our director of operations, has finally been able to get in contact with the principales of each school supported by our association. Out of the 4 schools: Saraswati, in Badal Gaun, has been hit the hardest. More than 2200 people lost their homes; in particular the families of a 100 students and 7 teachers from the school.
