Dear all, We here at Ek Pahila are thrilled with the potato harvest from Devisthan Primary School. A total of 3245 kgs of potatoes were finally packed into sacks and are now ready to be sold in the nearest market at Banepa. The income generated from this project will be channeled into different funds. A large portion of it will be once again invested for growing a different vegetable/fruit, as a part of the income generation program, while the rest will be deposited into the saving account of the school. The farmers are very grateful to Rato machindranath and Indra, the Rain Gods in the Hindu-Buddhist culture, who have blessed them with sufficient and timely rain this agricultural year.
