Dear donors,
We are happy to present the final report involving the construction work of the temporary shelters to which you have kindly contributed. The goal has been accomplished! The 8 shelters have been constructed before the start of the rainy season. As of this moment, the 8 shelters will host 32 families from the village of Badalgaun.

We now wish to focus our energy at the reconstruction of schools; starting with Janakalyan School, which has requested our assistance. The school welcomes 123 students, ranging from kindergarten to ninth grade. Located 35 km from Katmandu, in the village of Buchakot, situated in the Kavre region, the establishment was drastically effected by the earthquake of april 25.
The classrooms were destroyed and nothing but the weak foundation is visible. Teachers had no choice but to improvise and conduct their classes outside under tarpaulin outstretched by bamboos. However, this weak solution will not be able to resist the severe conditions of winter which disembark towards the end of november. It is crucial to reconstruct the walls of the classrooms to allow teachers and students to work under good conditions.
We herby invite you to take note of this new project and to share it with your family and friends, who like yourself, wish to help. Your trust and support is, as always, much appreciated.
All the best,
Ek Pahila Team
